Rt’s
North Hills Cycle opened in April of 1999
with the heart and soul of Ron Tonetti and
Sara Liberte in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A custom motorcycle shop that specializes
in ground up custom built bikes with all
work completed in house, from fabrication

Sara
Liberte has her roots in several fields
of this business. Since graduating
from Montserrat College Of art in
1997, Sara has been a professional
photographer specializing almost exclusively
in motorcycle and portrait photography.
Her photos have appeared in renowned
motorcycle publications, including
Easy Riders Magazine, In the Wind,
and Iron Works. She is staff photography
editor for The Cycle Source Magazine.
Her photos have been used in advertising
and marketing campaigns, and annual
reports. Throughout her professional
career Sara has maintained her fine
art photography study of combining
images of women with motorcycle components.
Her work has been exhibited in several
galleries, including Mingo Art Gallery,
formally in Beverly, Massachusetts,
and Blue Ruin Gallery in Pittsburgh. |

Sara
also co-owns and operates RT’s
North Hills Cycle Inc, where she has
her hands in all aspects of the business
— from managing parts and service
and working on motorcycles, to designing
custom paint jobs and custom-building
motorcycles. The March 2005 Issue
of Iron Works magazine features an
article written by Mike Seate that
focuses on Sara’s unique blend
of careers as custom bike builder,
shop owner and fine art photographer.
The October 2005 issue of Hot Bike
magazine also profiles Sara and her
career as shop owner and artist. Sara’s
new book “How to repair and
maintain American V-twin Motorcycles”
published by MBI international will
be available early 2006. Her fine
art work “Woman and machine”
has been on tour at every major motorcycle
rally in the U.S. this year. |
